I am back after a long absence! It very well could have been lack of interest to post on my own blog spot. But I am not going to make and effort to post on a regular basis.

Let's start with personal news. No, Maegan isn't pregnant! Which seems to be going around the shop with both Ted and Sarah and Berger and Joy expecting. Congratulations to them as well as the Davison's and Chapin's on their soon to be new editions to the family. I am personally avoiding this part of life by not drinking the water here at Velo City.

I am going to do what will really be my first ever cross race this Sunday at Manhattan Park in Grand Rapids. I say "really" because I tried one a couple of years ago without really knowing what I was getting in to. Now that I know about the pain and suffering that is cross I will count this as my first attempt. Unfortunately that does not mean I know what I am doing. My entire goal this weekend is to not fall on my face "running" over the barriers. If I can avoid any trips to the hospital or dentist as a result of cross racing I will consider it a small victory.

On a professional level I am putting together Velo Venture events for next season. You can look for things like a spring training trip to Northern Georgia in early March to a trip to Moab in late October/early November. There will obviously be some cool stuff in between those two rides.

Tomorrow we are having a strategy meeting for Velo City. It will be one of those lock yourself in a conference room all day events. I think it will be good to get everyone together to brainstorm ideas for the future of the shop. I am quite sure there will be many great ideas resulting from the meeting that you can look forward to seeing here in the future.

If you read this blog in it's entirety then thanks and get a life will ya! If you find yourself bored again sometime soon look for an update here after my suffer fest on Sunday.
